Talented young musicians should be nurtured. That’s exactly what a cultural association from Erlenbach does. They provide Küsnachter Yves Daetwyler, also known as Daetister, with an opportunity to perform at the next concert starting in early May.

The Erlenbach-based cultural association erlenmusic.ch aims to revolutionize the local music scene. Its goal is to promote a wide spectrum of musical genres such as pop, funk, blues, jazz, and rock. To achieve this, the association offers a platform to talented Swiss bands and solo musicians, regardless of their level of fame, as long as the quality is there. Erlenmusic.ch was founded in May 2023 and already achieved great success with its first organized concert. The Swiss funk band The Next Movement captivated the audience with their enthusiasm, creating an unforgettable musical experience that had the audience dancing from the first to the last minute.

Now, the next musical highlight is on the horizon: on Saturday, May 4th, Lilly Martin & Band will perform, with Daetister as the opening act. Lilly Martin, a charismatic singer with an extraordinary, soulful voice, received the prestigious Swiss Blues Award in 2020 and is known for her captivating stage presence. With a lifelong passion for blues, soul, and gospel, she has become one of Switzerland’s most distinctive blues voices. Currently touring with her fifth solo album “Lookout,” she showcases herself as a skilled songwriter who addresses important themes in her songs. Lilly Martin’s performances are characterized by infectious passion and a deep connection to the music. She is a regular guest at renowned blues and jazz festivals, always captivating her audience with a heartfelt and powerful performance.

Daetister, a singer-songwriter from Küsnacht whose real name is Yves Daetwyler, aims to establish a personal connection with his audience through his catchy melodies and diverse instrumentation. For this event, he will be accompanied by singer Kimberly, who has been on stage for many years and is known as the singer of his band Styrofoam Rain and as a rapper under the pseudonym Psayxha. Her energetic and honest performance, accompanied by an acoustic guitar, promises an authentic musical experience.
